Russian ruble sets record high of 49.9 per US dollar, 53 per euro

MOSCOW, Apr 15 (PRIME) -- The exchange rate of the Russian ruble grew 96 kopecks against the U.S. dollar to 49.94 rubles at 7:36 p.m. Moscow time on Wednesday, setting a record high since late November 2014, according to the Moscow Exchange data.

The ruble grew 1.17 rubles against the euro to 52.99 rubles, which is a record high since late October 2014.
